Our
Mother Earth has been giving us excessive rain
this past month making our ceremonial grounds
and camping area mushy and wet. Monday night's
downpour makes it impossible to gather this weekend.
We want to ensure your comfort and well being.
A week of sunshine does wonders! Still bring your
raingear and rubber boots and lots of mosquito
repellent.
It’s going to be another powerful gathering with
13 Grandmothers coming in the 13th year of Grandmother
Moon Lodge!

“Grandmother
Moon spoke to her daughter, the Earth Mother.
She said; Oh my daughter, do not grieve for that
which cannot be changed. There is much Love and
Compassion inside of you that can be used to heal
the broken hearts of all the Children of Sorrow.”
Now the black smoke of destruction and despair
of the Earth Mother and her people is lifting
and the healing fire of the seventh world of transformation
will guide us back to Balance and Harmony.
The
prophecy amongst many of our Ancient tribes on
Turtle Island said “There will come a time when
our “Grandmother Councils” will be needed to bring
the Balance and Teachings back to the People.
We are living in this time now.”
To
celebrate the 13 YEARS women have gathered here
at Grandmother Moon Lodge, we have brought together
13 GRANDMOTHERS to lead us on this healing journey
through their teachings and stories from their
own life’s experiences. Our families and communities
are waiting for us to carry the wisdom of these
grandmothers home. Our children need us. From
our belly, to our breast, to our arms, to our
eyes; they need our guidance and strength to give
them their rootedness in the Earth Mother and
Creator until they feel and believe it for themselves.
For
3 days we will be together living on the Land,
gathering into circles to be guided by our Grandmothers’
stories during the day. In the evenings we will
participate in Ceremonies and sit around the Sacred
Fire, drumming and singing long into the night.
Each of us can with the support of our sisters,
leave our grief in the Fire of Transformation.

The
Fee for the weekend includes all meals, teachings
and workshops and a chunk of land for your tent
to call home. Organization and Group Rates are;
$175 per women with a minimum of eight participants.
Individual rates are; $200 per woman. When we
receive your registration forms and fees, we will
send an information package to you two weeks prior
to the gathering. Deadline for registration is
June 16/2008. If torrential rains cleanse us before
the weekend of the gathering, the rain date is
July 4,5,6/2008.
